NEWSLETTER Hello and welcome to the last newsletter of the year. I'd like to start by thanking the people who have helped me throughout the year by either teaching, running clubs, and helping keep me organized or all the above. Kathy Pipe, Gilbert Simpkins, Jacki Moutsatsos, Mandy Heals, Cody Page. I've also added a list of the break up and return times for the New Year so put them on your fridge or in your diary. 2010 is the year of the Tiger (more about that in the next newsletter) and Chinese New Year starts on the 14th February. That means Chinese New Year Lion Dances are just around the corner. So people who would like to help out with the Lion Dances or just to come along to watch are most welcome. The Lion Dances are great fun to be involved in and any help is appreciated. They are held on the North side of town at various locations, starting about 6:30 pm to about 10:00 pm on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th February 2010. Check with me or your instructor about times and locations. If enough people want to get involved then car pooling might be an option. And of course our club dinner this year is to be held at the Chin Chin Restaurant at Springwood. Check below for details or call on 0418-878-545 Club Dinner

A Word of WisdomThirty spokes unite one hub;It is precisely where there is nothing, that we find the usefulness of the wheel. We fire clay and make vessels; It is precisely where there's no substance, that we find the usefulness of clay pots. We chisel out doors and windows; It is precisely in these empty spaces, that we find the usefulness of the room. Therefore, we regard having something as beneficial; But having nothing as useful.
